Meet Kavach: a little more control, a better checkout

Kavach focuses on giving merchants more control over when cash on delivery is available. Instead of relying on a single policy for every order, you can build rules around the conditions that matter to your business.

It is our current Shopify product, built around a practical goal: make checkout policies easier to manage.

Make your checkout policy your own

Start with the way your store already operates:

• Delivery areas: decide where your cash-on-delivery policy should apply.
• Order values: think about the cart values that make sense for your store.
• Products: identify items that need a different checkout policy.

The right starting point is usually one clear rule that solves a recurring problem. You can review and refine it as you learn how customers respond.

Keep the customer experience in view

Good checkout controls should support a clear shopping experience. Explain payment policies where customers can find them, and check that your intended payment options remain available.

Before rolling out a change, test an order that should match your rule and one that should not. This gives you a clearer picture of the experience you are creating.

Shipping offers, too

Kavach also supports conditional shipping offers on Starter, Growth, and Pro: free shipping, percentage discounts, a fixed amount off, or a discounted fixed shipping price. Offers need successful Shopify synchronization and do not combine with other discounts. Read the shipping-offer guide.
